BSBI Scottish Officer
A BSBI Scottish Officer has been in post since
2004. Currently the Scottish Officer is Angus
Hannah, while Jim McIntosh is on a one year
sabbatical.
The post aims to:
- Promote botanical interest and co-operation in Scotland
- Support and grow the BSBI Scottish membership
- Help deliver major conservation initiatives
Conservation initiatives / projects include:
- Rare Plant Registers (local red lists)
- Site Condition Monitoring
- Supporting Vice-county Recorders

- Computerising Recorders' paper records
